Sources & citations
Every claim ties back to its source.
Every regulatory claim and number has a numbered citation. Document citations 1 point to a page in an uploaded file. Regulatory citations c1 point to a section of the corpus. Click a citation to open the source beside the answer.
How citations work
- Document citations open the exact page in your uploads
- Regulatory citations open the cited section of the corpus
- Click any citation to open the source with the quote highlighted
- Definite claims and calculated numbers require a citation. Uncertainty is flagged.
Show the math
When an answer uses a formula, the assistant shows the equation and its source. The formula library has about 5,000 validated regulatory formulas.
In exports
Word exports use footnotes. Spreadsheet exports include a Sources sheet. "View source" opens the cited passage.
